Who We Are

We are a new company founded in late 2019 by me (Sharon) and my twin daughters (Aidan and Nicole).

The whole idea for the company started with a family favourite my situ used to make. It’s called a Faytre (meat pie in Lebanese). When we moved to a vegan lifestyle we worked hard at making our favourite foods vegan, and the Fatyre turned out so well we thought that we have to sell these! We tried them at a vegan food fair and sold out before the end of the day!

We knew we were on to something and that people are looking for some delicious, vegan, convenient food and we came up with our slogan "Plant-based Made Easy"!

Meet The Team

Sharon - Founder

Sharon has worked for over 28 years in the corporate life at the management level in various Customer Care, Sales Support, and Billing/Finance roles. In addition, her life-long love of baking had her recently attending George Brown culinary arts school part time where she perfected skills used in the production of the products.

Sharon oversees all aspects of the business, drives sales, and develops recipes.

Sharon likes to bake sweets, travel to warm places, and play her Switch.

Nicole - Co-Founder, Marketing and Operations Manager

Nicole went to school and studied Retail Management and Human Resources. After working her way through worldwide QSRs such as McDonald’s and Starbucks she found herself cooking in a kitchen alongside her sister Aidan. Post-graduation she worked in corporate training.

Now she blends her experience and skills to oversee business operations and manage the social media marketing initiatives.

Nicole likes to travel, learn new things, and take care of her plants.

Aidan - Co-Founder, Art Director

Aidan has been a lifelong creative, trendsetter, and taste maker. She attended OCAD for graphic design and has used her education and experiences along with her unique eye to develop and design stunning brand concepts.

At Situ’s Kitchen Aidan is responsible for designing all packaging and plays a big role in recipe development.

Aidan likes to look at art, eat food, and travel.
