We’re a family-run business founded in 2020 by Sharon and her twin daughters, Aidan and Nicole. Our journey began with a beloved family recipe passed down by Sharon’s Situ (grandmother) — the Lebanese Fatyre (a savoury meat pie).
When we adopted a vegan lifestyle, we were determined to recreate our favourite foods — and the Fatyre was first on the list. After countless kitchen experiments, we crafted a plant-based version so good, we had to share it. At our first vegan food fair, we sold out before the day ended — and that’s when we knew we were on to something.
Our mission is simple: to make plant-based eating easy, delicious, and rooted in tradition.
That’s why our slogan is “Plant-Based Made Easy”.

It’s our vegan twist on a traditional Lebanese savoury pie (originally called “Faytre” by our family). It’s flavourful, and packed with plant-based goodness of veggie ground, mild spices, lemon juice and pine nuts. Top with your favourite condiment. Some of our favourites? Relish, Toum, Mustard, Pomegranate molasses…the options are endless!

We appreciate your concern for the environment, and we share that concern. The use of it helps us avoid hydrogenated oils. Currently, Situ’s Kitchen uses a blend of conventional and sustainable palm oils but are actively exploring other options without affecting the taste and quality of our products. Stay tuned!
